MAY 20 PRESENTATION ANNIV & “THE LITTLE BLACK DRESS”

125th anniversary of Presentations LEOMINSTER – A Tim Janis Concert will be held May 20 at 1 p.m. in St. Leo School’s Msgr. John Doran Auditorium, 120 Main St., as part of the 125th anniversary celebrations of the Sisters of the Presentation in New England. Mr. Janis, renowned composer, musician, conductor and arranger, with his ensemble accompanied by a children’s choral group from St. Bernard and St. Leo Elementary Schools, will be featured. For more information, tickets or reserved seating at $10 per person, $8 for senior citizens and no charge for children under 12 years of age call 978-50-4864. Tickets will be available at the door. “The Little Black Dress” Event MANCHAUG – St. Anne Parish Ladies will hold a “Little Black Dress” Event on May 20 with doors opening at 12:30 p.m., lunch served from 1-1:30 followed by Bill Graham, renowned floral designer and owner of Beautiful Things in Salem presenting an afternoon of “Flowers, Fashion, and Food” at the church, 29 Main St. Each of eight presentations of The Little Black Dress will be unique as Mr. Graham takes the stage with a mannequin dressed in a little black dress. He draws upon on-the-spot inspirations from a vast array of jewelry, handbags, hats, scarves, and other accessories, to create a specific look for different occasions and then interprets that look in flowers by improvising a beautiful bouquet. The 8 beautiful bouquets created will be raffled during the event.
