WORCESTER Notre Dame Academy on Salisbury Street is closing the school beginning Monday, March 16, until further notice, according to a press release from the school.
Due to recent announcements from the State House that they are severely curtailing public events because of the coronavirus, the Massachusetts Family Institute Annual Lobby Day, set for March 18, has been postponed.
Anna Maria College will extend the spring break currently underway through Sunday, March 22. The extension will allow the college to prepare for remote instruction, should that become necessary.
The state Knights of Columbus is “cancelling all State run functions until further notice, with the exception of the State Convention which has not been cancelled as of yet.”

WORCESTER – Deacon John F. LeDoux, 65, of Worcester, died Sunday at St. Vincent Hospital after a long illness. Assumption College has temporarily suspended operations at its campus in Rome, Italy, for the remainder of the spring 2020 semester, according to the school.
