WORCESTER – Father Eugene V. LaPlante, A.A., 87, died July 27 in Rose Monahan Hospice after an illness. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 1, at St. Anne- St. Patrick Parish, 16 Church St., Fiskdale.

Father Joseph W. McKiernan, 92, died Friday, July 26, at the Christopher House of Worcester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Bishop McManus on Thursday, Aug. 1, at 11 a.m. in St. Mark's Church, 356 Boston Road in Sutton.
