Faith & Family Celebration

About 40 youngsters and their families spent the afternoon at Assumption College at the Faith & Family Celebration hosted by Pflaum Publishing Group and the Diocese of Worcester. Teacher and composer John Burland, national music consultant for Bayard Inc., directed the youngsters in singing worship songs based on Scripture and Church teaching. Choir members from several parishes had been practicing the music separately and Saturday joined together to share the music with their families and Bishop McManus. The day ended with a Mass, celebrated by the bishop, at which the students sang. Pflaum is a brand of Bayard which is the publishing arm of the Assumptionists.
